Winter finches

I'm still watching for purple finches, but I had a pine siskin at my
feeders today at lunch. I was watching the house finches and gold finches
gobble seed when I saw a flash of yellow. Grabbing my binoculars, I
started checking carefully. I actually got two extended looks at the
siskin. That was the first I had seen in a bunch of years.
