The long awaited 70th yard bird was a beautiful male Baltimore Oriole
inspecting a camilia blossom this morning here in Charlotte.
In the duck department, have seen 50-60 Ring-necked Ducks twice this past
week. Sunday at Coddle Creek reservoir north of town and then the same
number (same flock?) at a small pond a few miles from the UNC-Campus on
Tuesday.
