Directions to coastal NC sites - buy the books

All birders in NC need to have both Fussell's "A Birder's Guide to
Coastal North Carolina", and Simpson's "Birds of the Blue Ridge
Mountains". I don't mean to toot UNC Press' horn here, but it would help
their sales if folks would buy copies. You can presumably get them from
amazon.com, ABA Sales, and any bookstore, visitor center, etc.

These two books do not cover the Piedmont or the western 2/3rds of the
Coastal Plain. But, Fussell's book covers most of the best known coastal
birding sites, in great detail, plus the bar graphs, and species
accounts answer questions about when is the best time to look for a
given species.
