CBBT Update 2/26

The Black-tailed Gull and an adult Little Gull were present early this
afternoon in a large feeding flock just off island #3 to the southeast.
(Thanks to Allen Bryan for having the B-t in his scope when I pulled up.)
The B-t stayed a good distance offshore but the Little Gull made some very
close passes of the island. There are still 3 Harlequin Ducks: 1 male
usually at #4 and 2 females which were on the west side of #2 today.
Elsewhere in the vicinity, the White-winged X-bills are still visiting the
feeder in Portsmouth. Be prepared to wait awhile and listen carefully. The
one bird seen this afternoon spent a good 20-30 minutes nearly motionless
and invisible from certain angles in the top of a pine but could be located
by its calls.
