Took a quick trip to Cowans Ford and Mcguire Nucleur Station. At the thermal
ponds saw OSPREY and SPOTTED SANDPIPER. Nothing else of interest. At the
ponds at the Cowans Ford overlook, there were 2 LESSER YELLOWLEGS and a
SOLITARY SANDPIPER present. Swallow and RED WINGED BLACKBIRD numbers were
about 40 each. And I got my first warbler in Charlotte this spring with a
vibrant little YELLOWTHROAT calling his heart out.
Good birdin'
