All,
I saw two Mississippi Kites sailing over the Boy Scout's Camp Tuscarora
in southern Johnston County NC (Near Bentonville Battleground) on Sunday
morning, April 30.
I had a two ft, black-phase hognose snake in the yard yesterday, and I
fished a four+ ft. black rat snake out of my putative screech owl box. I
then cleaned the box out and found an extremely dead starling. The
great cresteds are re-investigating now that all the old occupants have
been evicted.
