new kids

Hi y'all,
This afternoon a pair of cardinals were busy trying to keep up with
their first offspring of the year. Pa had one tucked away in a magnolia, Ma
was tending hers in a nearby live oak. Most humans could learn a lot about
child-rearing from cardinals, I think.
Also heard my first Eastern Wood-Peewee of the year in the neighborhood
today, and a Common Nighthawk in the local hospital parking lot last night.

Cheers,
GP
