More on Kestrels

Carolinabirders:
American Kestrels do indeed breed here in western NC. Over the past number
of years we have confirmed nesting in Polk, Henderson and Transylvania
Counties. Of course we are dealing with just a handful of pairs, but they
probably do nest in our region every year. Still, as Harry LeGrand
mentioned, it is a notable and very uncommon occurrence that indeed needs
documentation.
