Raleigh Tree Swallows, Ibis sp.

The pair of Tree Swallows were still present at the Raleigh Boulevard swamp
this afternoon. However during my 15 minutes of watching they stayed far out
over the swamp for the most part and did not come near the putative nest
tree, so the question of breeding remains up in the air, so to speak. A pair
of Red-headed WPs were also around but stayed near the far edge as well.

Earlier in the afternoon I had an ibis fly over New Bern Ave. near WakeMed,
not identifiable to species due to backlighting and sunglasses (mine, that
is.) Anyhow, the post-breeding waders are coming, though not to the
aforementioned swamp as yet.
