Yes. In past years there have been two fledglings. They hang on till at
least mid August.
On 26 July, 2000, one adult at a time was seen feeding a single fledgling,
but two different adults (one with a bad left tail feather) were in area;
another young may have been heard.
Young remained perched in Roanoke Rapids on 8th Street in the pecan behind
the church just west of Franklin Street, fed about every 5-10 minutes.
