Roseate Spoonbill at Pea Island

Greetings,
Birded Pea Island this morning. Wanted to let you know that the spoonbill
is still around. It was in the northeast corner of New field, as usual. Also
had a Blue-winged Teal, 7 terns (including several Blacks), and migrant
Redstarts and Yellow Warblers. Not many shorebirds; water levels are very
high from all the rain. There were some Knots, Turnstones, Spotted
Sandpipers, Semi-plovers, Sanderlings, Peeps, etc on or around the groin at
Oregon Inlet, however. Also, there are still some Skimmers and Least Terns
feeding chicks in the same area.
