HI . . .
Just a note to let fellow CAROLINABIRDers know I'll be doing
hummingbird banding presentations for the public at three locations
in August as part of "The Original Hummingbird Mornings."
This first weekend I'll be in Statesville NC at Allison Woods at 8:30
and 10:30 am on Saturday and Sunday (5 & 6 July). Admission is $2 per
person.
In addition to showing folks how we band hummingbirds, I'll also be
answering questions from the audience and showing some of Perky-Pet's
new feeder products.
Details and directions are at the websites for Operation RubyThroat:
http://www.rubythroat.org and Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural
History: http://www.hiltonpond.org .
The Allison Woods website is http://www.allison-woods.org .
Hope to see you there! :-)
BILL

P.S. I'll be at Stacy's Greenhouses (York) and RibbonWalk (Charlotte)
the second and third weekends in August. Details to follow.
