Brewster's warbler in winston-salem

Dear Carolinabirders,

This morning (7:30 AM) I saw 1 Brewster's warbler in Reynolda Garden,
maybe 20 yards from the place I had the Blue-winged warbler on Sunday. I
had good looks of the bird foraging medium-high in a tree. I have not
seen a Golden-winged warbler yet :(, but at least I've got to see those
world-famous golden wings today :). I believe now, that these birds are
really passing through the Piedmont these days! I try to keep checking
this and other spots I know in the following weeks. I've been out in
Reynolda gardens Tuesday morning too. All the warblers seen on these
three occasions include:
Canada warbler (2 yesterday)
Black-throated blue warbler (1 imm yesterday)
Hooded warbler (1-2 birds every day)
American Redstart (2-3 birds, every day)
Ovenbird (1 this morning)
Blue-winged warbler (1 Sunday)
Brewster's warbler (1 this morning)

I also checked Archie Elledge sewage ponds yesterday (6:30 PM), 5
species of shorebirds were present (2 Spotted,5 Solitary,1 Pectoral,2
Least Sandpipers, and lots of Killdeer)

good birding
