Dear Steve Shultz and other Carolinabirders,
I believe capitalization is the best way, and, I believe, accepted by most
editors (the old American Birds, for example). For example, should one write
"Little Gull" or "little gull"? I went to Pea Island and saw a little gull,
then I saw
several yellow warblers. The advantage of caps should be obvious.
Yours For Capitalization,
Steve Compton
