Yesterday afternoon I returned from the grocery store and sat in my car
scanning the grocery tape when I caught a blur out of the corner of my eye.
Shifting my eyes slowly and got a close up look at a Coopers Hawk that had
landed on my husbands car next to mine. I don't think I've have every gotten
such a great look so closely for so long. He sat for nearly 2 minutes. He
flew off, making a beeline straight for our outdoor flight cage holding Buck
our Blue Fronted Amazon. Seeing he couldn't get in he flew away. I guess he
gave up on eating a South American delicacy for dinner.
