Hi Carolinabirders,
Spent the early morning at Myrtle Beach S.P. in Horry County, SC the
continuing NW winds brought migrants mostly Red-eyed and White-eyed Vireos.
The first hour was a little tough fighting the poor light with the birds
way up in the tree tops. The three spotted thrushes were seen in good
light in the top of a Hickory type tree. One of the Red-eyed's had an
anole pinned upside down and was pecking the heck out of him! Was this prey
or was he trying to teach this other insect eater a lesson about going
after his food. 25 species
