Are the b.- t. grackles actually nesting farther inland, or are their
post-breeding wanderings extending more inland (these could presage an actual
colonization by breeders)? They have nested on Lake Marion in SC, about 50
miles from the coast (ca. 25 mi. from "tidewater").
