14 warbler day + Merlin

Had a pretty good morning for migrants at Lake Crabtree (Wake Cty, NC) Sunday.
13 warbler species including:

Tennessee
Bay-breasted
Blue-winged
redstart
Magnolia
Yellow-throated
Black & White
Hooded
N. Parula
Chestnut-sided
Ovenbird
Blackburnian
Black-throated Green
Pine (heard only)

Also had a large number of YB Cuckoos (10+), and several Rose-breasted
Grosbeaks.

The surprise bird of the day was a Merlin cruising from north to south along the
lakeshore.

Still nice numbers of tanagers moving through with both Scarlet and Summer noted
today.

Best,
Steve Shultz
Cary, NC
