Great Cormorant (minor correction)

Oops, I meant to write "prominent white CHEEK patches are visible behind the
cheeks. There are no ear patches :-)

previous message:
A 1st year Great Cormorant was present at Jordan Lake 10/30. The bird was on
the Crosswinds Marina breakwater with several Double-crested Cormorants,
Ring-billed & Herring Gulls. According to the CHBC checklist this would be a
second record?
The bird is easy to distinguish from Double-crested Cormorants. The belly is
white from the upper chest to nearly the vent. The upper chest and neck are
dusky. Prominent white ear patches are visible behind the ears. (Young
Double-crested's show a reverse pattern on the chest, light upper and dark
lower)
