Hi y'all,
Neat birds around the yard today. The highlights follow:
Brown Creeper (new yard bird)
Blue-headed Vireo
Black-and-white Warbler
Orange-crowned Warbler (new yard bird)
Dark-eyed Junco (only a pair, and they're over 2 wks late this year)
All the "usual suspects" were out in force. The apparent female Sharpie
that's taken a liking to the area must've been napping. She did put in an
appearance shortly before dark, chasing a House Finch from the feeders into
the ivy, then heading to another fav spot.
Cheers,
Gary
