There will be an IMBD walk at Tibwin Plantation on the Francis Marion
NF, in Charleston Co., SC on Sat, May 12, beginning @ 7:30am. Some are
meeting at 6 to look/hear for nightjars/owls/woodcock. This walk is
held annually and typically results in 75-100 species being observed in
about 5 hours. This area is highly diverse with longleaf pine, mixed
pine/hardwood, bottomland hardwood, freshwater ponds, managed brackish
intertidal ponds, maritime forest, spartina marsh, and much shrub/scrub
habitat. If anyone is interested, please meet at the entrance to South
