Since the subject his week seems to be Cedar Waxwings I just thought I would
share an interesting observation I made last week. At least 30 Cedar
Waxwings were feeding on caterpillars (and possibly other critters) up in
some oaks here on Roanoke Island. I also saw a White-throated Sparrow take a
caterpillar from an oak (about 3 weeks ago). Birds can be very
opportunistic!
