For the past few days, there has been an odd looking goose mixed
within a flock of Canada geese in Fountain Inn, SC. He looks
like the National Geo's immature white phase snow goose, except
his beak is pinkish and his legs are slightly more orange than
pink. I think it is too late to see a snow goose and besides the
beak and leg colors do not look right.
Does anyone have any ideas? Does anyone know a good web address
that shows domesticated geese pictures?
The location of the goose is on Harrison Bridge Road, behind
Bethlehem Baptist Church. Bethlehem BC faces SC Hwy. 14, but you
need to go behind it, into a new addition to the parking lot.
Look in the newly sown field with the rest of the Canada geese.
