HI . . .
Just a reminder that the next "Hummingbird Morning" will be this
Saturday (18 August) at RibbonWalk: Charlotte's Botanical Forest.
Banding demonstrations will be at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.
Admission fee of $5 ($2 children 10 and under) goes to support the
work of RibbonWalk and Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural
History. The sessions are underwritten, in part, by Chirp 'n Chatter
wild bird store in Tega Cay SC.
Details and directions are at http://www.hiltonpond.org or
http://www.rubythroat.org .
We had great audiences for the sessions in Columbia SC last week at
Nursery Road Elementary School; the final presentations of 2001 will
be hosted by Audubon Society of Forsyth County at Historic Bethabara
Park in Winston-Salem on 25-26 August.
Happy Hummingbird Watching!
