I birded Duke Forest today from around 11am to 1pm. I first walked the
Shepherd Nature Trail loop without success. I then biked down the Gate 7
to Gate 3 road stopping everytime I heard a Chickadee or Titmouse. This
produced several small flocks of local passerines (Gnatcatchers, Red-eyed
Vireos, Yellowthroat and the aforementioned Chickadees and Titmice) and
two bona fide migrants - a Canada Warbler and a Worm-eating Warbler.
