This morning Janet an I saw a single Pine Siskin in a flock of Goldfinches
along the Little River. Early sighting.

This evening the birds were stoking up in preparation for the freeze. We
saw our first brown headed nuthatch at the feeders, and a golden crowned
kinglet in the woods. A flock of 75-100 chipping sparrows were feeding in
my weed patch (a.k garden)
