Blue-gray Gnatcatcher

While hiking at Raven Rock State Park on January 6, Mary, Patrick,
Steven and I saw a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. The bird was at eye level in
a
tree at the end of the Fish Traps Trail, along the edge of the Cape Fear
River. To my knowledge ,this is
the first winter record of this species in the park.
