Birders,
Arrived at the site around 9:00 AM and saw the towhee about 9:15 AM. Several
birders had been watching it off and on for a while prior to this. However,
the bird DID NOT reappear for the rest of the day (5:00 PM) except for 2
very unsatisfiing glimpses according to birders that waited till then.
Interested birders may want to make sure to arrive early for best chance to
see it. Also, for anyone visiting the site mid-week , I'm sure the towhee,
painted buntings, white-crowned sparrows, etc. as well as some birders would
appreciate some fresh birdseed put out about then.
