Falls Lake

Hi,

Not too many shorebirds in contrary to acres of mud flats....the lowest
water ever seen here.
I checked area in front of Lake Ridge Airport (just SE from HWY 85
bridge), looks pretty nice for me but obviously not for birds. Numerous
Field Sparrows, Chickadees, and Doves, not even one Killdeer.
Anyway here you are numbers from Little Lick Creek (Olive Grove Rd.) mud
flats:

Am. Golden Plover - 2 juv.
Killdeer - 33
Pectoral Sandpiper - 16
Least Sand. - 15

in addition 1 juv. Northern Harrier, 1 Bobolink, 3 Savannah Sparrows.
