Greetings,
Still lots of good birds today on Roanoke Island. Lots
of warblers of several species put in a good show
today, along with a Scarlet Tanager, a Gray-cheeked
thrush, a LARK SPARROW and a PHILADELPHIA VIREO. The
vireo was in the Elizabethan Gardens and the Lark
Sparrow was actually a new yard bird for me. The Conn,
Warbler was not seen today.
