Hardwick Rd-Horry County



Hi Carolinabirders,
This morning I joined Steve & Barbara Thomas for a morning walk along
Hardwick Road off of Route 319, north of Conway, Horry County, SC. 33
species seen among the three of us in farm fields and pine flatwoods
habitat.

Great Blue Heron-1
Turkey Vulture-4
N. Harrier-1 first year bird
Am. Kestrel-5
Mourning Dove-10 to 15
Red-bellied Woodpecker-4
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker-1 female, 1 immature
Downy Woodpecker-1
N. Flicker-12
E. Phoebe-5
Tree Swallow-3
Blue Jay-8
Am. Crow-2
Carolina Chickadee-3
Tufted Titmouse-5
Brown-headed Nuthatch-2 or 3
Carolina Wren-2 heard only
House Wren-1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet-8
Golden-crowned Kinglet-2
E. Bluebird-12
Am. Robin-4
Gray Catbird-8
N. Mockingbird-2
Loggerhead Shrike-1
Yellow-rumped Warbler-fairly common
