Pea Island Migrants

Hi folks,
Birded Pea Island this weekend and it was very birdy
(especially friday and saturday). Lots of winter birds
in the mornings at the old Coast Guard Station. Best
birds were a VESPER Sparrow, two White-crowned
Sparrows, two Indigo Buntings, an American Goldfinch
and a lone PINE SISKIN. Also had a Black-throated Blue
Warbler, a Blackpoll, a couple of Orange-crowned
Warblers and a White-rumped Sandpiper. Had lots of
Brown Creepers this weekend, too! Also of note was a
Ross' Goose that had been seen and logged on Oct 27 by
Keith Watson.
Good birding!
