Hilton Pond 11/22/02 (Rufous Hummer Retrap)

Knee surgery--plus the ice storm and communications outages--have slowed us considerably in posting the photo essay about a Rufous Hummingbird banded in 2001 at Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural History and re-trapped at Columbus, Ohio on 20 November 2002.

Now our power's back on and the modem is working so if yours is, too, just click on http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek021122.html for the 22-30 November 2002 installment of "This Week at Hilton Pond."

As always, there are lists of the week's banded species and recaptured birds.

Please forward this message to others who are interested in nature and birds. They can get a free weekly reminder for "This Week at Hilton Pond" by sending a blank e-mail to mailto:info@hiltonpond.org with SUBSCRIBE in the subject line.

Happy Nature Watching,
