Please show up some photos of the bird #2 (named "immature male"). Immature
King Eider (1 y. males and females) usually show that "happy face - smile"
(dark up-turned gape on light background). In addition in males base of the
bill starts to be yellowish-orangy fairly early in Fall which is emphasized
by dark feather on head.
Anyway would be nice to see some photographs.
