The following are highlights of the 3 hour Saturday birdwalk at Charleston
County's Caw Caw Park in Ravenel, SC led by Perry Nugent at 8:30 am. For

then click on Interpretive Center and then birding highlights.
January 11, 2003
54 species were seen and/or heard on a cold, but nice day. The most
interesting were; 15 Hooded Mergansers, 2 adult Bald Eagles, 1 Northern
Harrier, 4 Red-shouldered Hawks, 2 Red-tailed Hawks, 20 Ruby-crowned
Kinglets, 12 Golden-crowned Kinglets, 6 Hermit Thrushes, 3 Blue-headed
Vireos, 1 Orange-crowned Warbler, 2 Nashville Warblers, 4 Pine Warblers, 1
Palm Warbler, and 2 Black-and-white Warblers.
