Mockingbird Behavior

For the past several days, I've had a solitary (I guess) Mockingbird feeding
at my suet and seed feeders. This is the first time I've ever seen this.
My sister in Hilton Head also reports a Catbird doing the same thing. Is
this normal behavior when other food sources are not available? For
instance, the bird always visits during the winter to feed on berries, but
they're all gone now. Thanks.
