At 9:00am this morning there were 8 razorbills feeding in a tight flock
within 100 yards of shore at the north end of Wrightsville Beach, in front of
Shell Island Resort. There was also one eared grebe in mostly winter plumage
between the resort and the inlet. There are also lots of horned grebes in
various stages of molt. Six Wilson's plovers, three piping plover (two color
banded), one color banded oystercatcher among other birds.
