A whip-poor-will and a chuck-will's-widow sang a duet for me last night.
This morning I got a spectacular view of an ovenbird. It landed about six
feet away and flared out its orange crown. (Yard bird/life bird.)
Red-eyed vireos are finally back; white-eyed vireos have been around for
about a month or so.
Five fuzzy phoebe nestlings under my eaves and proud parents singing loudly.
