I was eating a boring lunch at my dining room table while admiring a
beautiful fuschia hanging basket outside the front door when movement caught
me by surprise.Yes, it was a hummer circling the plant, sipping from each
blossom. It was so unexpected. I have feeders displayed to attract them but
it turned out to be the real food that I had hung for its attraction to my
plant loving eye that drew them in. Must be kin to me-reminds me of all
those 30 years of teaching school and eating those fake mashed
potatoes.Taught me a lesson-provide quality and they will come!
