All,
I saw a Mississippi kite flying over the Central Crops Research Station
on Highway 70 between Raleigh and Clayton, NC, right on the
Wake-Johnston Co. line, this morning. It seemed to be purposefully
moving to the southwest. My only regret is that I didn't see it about 15
minutes earlier and 3 miles further to the east- from my backyard! (It
would have been yard bird 115.)
Take care,
Clyde Sorenson
