   Hi C'birders,
Today, Dave Gustavson and I went to Huntington Beach S.P., Murrells
Inlet, Georgetown County, SC in search of Black Tern and there were good
numbers there. All told 43 species were found searching Mullet Pond and
the jetty pond area. Highlights were the continuing good numbers of
long legged waders in Mullet Pond and good numbers of terns at the north
end of the park using the sand bars (lots of disturbance) from
fishermen, walkers, shellers, cast netters, recreational boaters who
would get the terns into the air.
The estimated numbers of terns were: 80 Royal, 100 Sandwich, 10
Forster's, 200 Least, 70 Black. Didn't see any Common or Caspian.

Good birding, good company
