The Piedmont is a big region, so we're starting a new section on the
Web site for Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural History that
includes photos of Piedmont flora, fauna, and phenomena as
contributed by members of the Nature Study Network and other folks.
If you have an original photo you'd like to share that doesn't appear
elsewhere on the Web, please e-mail it as a jpeg attachment to
mailto:webmaster@hiltonpond.org . Please include name of
photographer, date and location of photograph (including city/state),
and anecdotal information about the photo's contents. Note that the
Gallery is limited to photos taken in the Piedmont Region of the
eastern United States, which stretches from southern New York to
northern Alabama.
The inaugural submission to the Contributors' Gallery is a nice photo
of an albino Virginia Opossum, as posted at
http://www.hiltonpond.org/GalleryContributorsMain.html
Thanks in advance for your contributions, and Happy Nature Watching!
