Carolina Birders:
Members of the Piedmont Bird Club in Guilford County, NC has found three Ring
Teal in a pond at the Bog Garden near Friendly Shopping Center in Greensboro.
As this species is native to the southern part of South America, it isn't
likely that these individuals have gotten here under their own power. However,
it's always nice to see a "new" bird flying free in a more or less natural
setting. For additional information, e-mail Louise Brown at Piedmontbirder@aol.com.
