Hi folks,
Joan and I took advantage of the NE winds and low water to bird the mud
flats on the east side of Roanoke Sound. We found thousands of terns and a
good variety of shorebirds with a Buff-breasted Sandpiper being our best
bird. To get to this spot, turn west off hwy 158 just south of Jockey's
Ridge, drive to the end of the road, take a right and park.
