regarding birding possibilities associated with Hurricane Isabel

In regard to the question of birding possibilities as a result of
Hurricane Isabel:

As has been pointed out in prior e-mails, it is very difficult to get
around in areas being affected by a hurricane, even a category 1 or 2
hurricane. And getting around in the Outer Banks area will be virtually
impossible.

However, it might be mentioned that there could be a good fallout of
landbird migrants along the coast about Saturday or Sunday morning,
because of westerly winds that follow the storm. Presumably (based on
the storm's current track), there should be no difficulty getting to the
coast from Fort Fisher, North Carolina southward.

There certainly were a lot of Bobolinks flying over here at 6am today.
