I had intended to visit the South Carolina coast this morning
but ended up in Brunswick instead. I spent time on Shallotte River,
checked the ponds at Sunset Beach, and stopped briefly at Calabash
Creek..
I saw three raptors: osprey (3), sharp-shinned hawk (1), and merlin (1)
I also saw the following waders: great blue heron, little blue,
tricolor, great egret, and snowy
The only shorebird I saw was a greater yellowlegs at Calabash.
