double click for big brother?

http://www.usatoday.com/life/cyber/tech/cth211.htm
advertising is all about knowing to whom you are delivering your message
and how to best persuade those folks to your way of thinking. so what's so
wrong about the net's largest advertising firm tracing individual clicks
so are to serve you better? combined with a recent acquisition, abacus
direct, doubleclick is creating a database with names of individuals and
their net.habits. this will lead to better personalization of
advertising--along with a loss of privacy. is it worth the cost?

Junkbusters (junkbusters actually supply software for blocking annoying
banner ads--windows only).
