when i first saw the heading on this topic, i was elated to think that a literary festival honoring kilgore trout would be coming to unc. then i realized that it was just speeches by some silly librarians, for goodness sake, and i had a huge letdown.
when will unc honor the great and prolific writer, that prophet of the post-nuclear age, kilgore trout? his insights into the inerplay between man and machine have been proven prescient over and over again.
kilgore trout, kilgore trout, kilgore trout!
