Passed one year Chinese language course from Peking University Beijing, (1st class) 1993 –94.
One year Intensive Advance Diploma in Chinese Language, Delhi University, Delhi (Ist Class), 1992-93.
M. Phil in Buddhist Studies (Ist class with 73% marsk) Delhi University, 1990-91. The subject of the Thesis is :Ashtamahabodhisattva in Art and Literature.
Qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lectureship, examination conducted by University Grants Commission of India, 1990.
Post-Graduate Diploma in Archaeology (2 year Diploma) from the Institute of Archaeology (Archaeological Survey of India) New Delhi, 1988.
M. A. in Buddhist Studies with specialization in Pali (Ist class with 60% marks), Delhi University, 1986.
