Being a Canadian driver I find DRL very effective.  I find that I notice 
cars better and from a further distance too.  I don't understand why 
people are so bothered by seeing a pair of headlights on.  In some cases 
the DRL's aren't even headlights like in the case of the new minivans 
which only have the marker lights on.  Anyways I like 'em.
